From a vision given at Christmas in 2016, Lancashire’s Lighthouse Radio commenced broadcasting on 4/4/18 and has continued to grow. From the very beginning The Lord made it clear that this was going to be something very different from other Christian radio stations, in fact we prefer the phrase ‘a radio station run by Christians’.

In the Christian Bible, Matthew, Mark, Luke and John all state the following:-

‘And he said to them, “Follow me and I will make you fishers of men”.

This verse played a major part in the direction that the programming should take, to ‘fish’ for all God’s children requires variety.

Therefore, content varies ranging from chat, poetry, testimony, interviews, teachings, quizzes and music (new and old varying in genre including Christian and ‘positive message’ secular) and has something for all tastes and age groups. If you are an independent/new artist we would love to promote your music. None of the presenters are professionals and we come from all walks of life and backgrounds and from many different countries yet share the same passion to share the love of Jesus Christ. We broadcast globally 24hrs a day, currently reaching over 197 countries through live shows and pre-recorded content using DJ 2LR (our auto-DJ).
